Jaguar Love "Highways of Gold" Song Review
Visit Jaguar Love

For those that don't already know, Jaguar Love is comprised of members of The Blood Brothers and Pretty Girls Make Graves. Jaguar Love is the band I always wished Blood Brothers had been. I guess I'm more arty than punk. The real defining quality of this band (as was true of BB) are Johnny Whitney's vocals and that vox is showcased in "Highways of Gold", the first single from their new record, Take Me To The Sea, to be released on Matador Records worldwide on August 19. The song is just the right combination of art-punk, dance, and *gasp* pop! Yep, I said it.

The band has asked their fans to select “Highways of Gold” as their default MySpace homepage song. Between now and August 26, JL will visit fan's pages, and the first five people they find who have featured “Highways of Gold” on their page, will win a "Show Us Your Jaguar Love" prizepack, including:

- Jaguar Love T-Shirts, stickers and posters
- Autographed Take Me To The Sea CDs and LPs
- Tickets to see the band live the next time they’re in your area

So check out the track and if you feel so lead, add it to your 'Space. Hell, you just might win.
